5th Annual
Spring Benefit Concert & Luncheon
Dear
Members and Friends of the Manhattan Won Buddhist Temple:
It is my pleasure to invite you to our Fifth Annual Spring Concert and
Luncheon Benefit, on Sunday June 1. We will, once again, feature the very
talented Won Buddhism Chamber Players , who have put together another
outstanding program. If you have yet to attend one of these concerts,
you have missed a wonderful opportunity. Speak to any of the members who
have attended and they will attest to how superb these concerts have been.
Once again, before
the concert, a delicious gourmet lunch will be served following the Dharma
Service.
Suggested donation for lunch and concert is $35 per person ($25 for students,
children and seniors). Group/Family discounts are available (4 or more
tickets bought at one time are $25 per ticket).
The Dharma Service,
as usual, will be at 11 am. The luncheon will begin at 12:30 and the concert
at 2:00 p.m. The program with include the Boccherini String Quintet in
C Major and the
Mendelssohn String Quintet in Bb Major, Op. 87. The musicians will be:
Ann Lehmann, violin
Catherine Sim, violin
Desiree Elsevier, viola
Katie Kresek, viola
Robert Burkhart, cello
Tickets are currently available. You can purchase them at the Temple from
Rev. Doyeon Park or you can call the temple and reserve tickets (Tel.
212-750-2773) . I would advise you to get your tickets early, as we are
expecting a sell-out crowd. This should be a wonderful event. Please do
join us!
In Dharma
