HOW TO REGISTER FOR A RESIDENTIAL RETREAT

To register for the retreat "Everyday Practice with Joy: The Dharma of Good Habits", from May 18 - 20, 2012, you need to send the registration form, the liability waiver form and the retreat fee

 Retreat Fee

The retreat fee that we charge only covers the minimum cost because we want as many people as possible to share with us this retreat to awaken ourselves and the world.

• Single occupancy room: $180 (Won Buddhist members: $144)

• Double occupancy room: $140 (Won Buddhist members: $112)

• Dormitory style room: $100 (Won Buddhist members: $80)

If you pay more than the listed cost, it will be used for a scholarship fund to support those who cannot afford the retreat. Whatever you pay above the cost is a tax-deductible donation to Won Buddhism of Manhattan.

 Note: Your space is not confirmed until you return all of the required forms with your payment. Once your forms have been received and processed, you will receive a confirmation by email or phone.

DANA (donation) to teachers at the end of the retreat.

The retreat fee only covers the minimum cost of the facility, food, supplies and other retreat expenses. Please make a donation to support teachers who are volunteering their time. It is their deepest joy to offer retreats without a direct connection to financial income. Indeed, your generous giving (dana) to teachers will be crucial enabling future retreats. Donations are offered at the retreat, not in advance. are fully tax deductible.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If you need to cancel from a retreat, please do so early so we can make the space available to someone else. Please note the following cancellation fees:

• A month before the start of the retreat: $25
• 1 week up until the day before retreat: $50
• No Refunds as of opening day.

The rest of your retreat fees will be refunded.
