Tai Chi and Won Motion with Laura SamuelsKeep your New Year’s Resolution to be healthier, stronger, and deepen your meditation practice! Learn Tai Chi exercises that are designed to balance your Chi (internal life energy). Members will learn the Chi Wah (balancing the Chi) and both Yin/Yang Chi transformations (bringing fire to water and water to fire).
The session will include dynamic Won Motion style Chi Kung exercises to strengthen your body (especially the back). The circular movements of Won Motion help the body’s joints move freely for better circulation and more comfortable sitting meditation. Won Motion is a holistic exercise system for all fitness levels.
Each evening concludes with a sitting segment of calming aroma therapy and guided meditation with breathing and internal exercises to connect to your dantien. Once you are able to recognize your dantien*, your meditation practice deepens and becomes more focused.
Special Features of this Class:
Laura will lead each session giving personal attention to developing the correct form of each participant.
