Do you feel that you are not reaching your practicing goals? Does the pursuit of your everyday meditation practice feel at times burdensome? Join us this weekend and learn about the power of cultivating good habits.

 

As  a leader of  the world peace movement and Head Minister of our Manhattan Temple, Rev. Chung Lee will guide us to build self-discipline by becoming aware of the simple steps that are relevant to our own individual lives. As Won Buddhist we aspire to a joyful practice that may enlighten ourselves and others.

All participants will receive a booklet “LIVING DHARMA: A Guide to Daily Practice,” an essential tool for joyful everyday practice.
Our Lay Teacher, Won Do (Laura) will give Won Motion* sessions for healthy living practice.


Retreat activities will include: sitting meditation, chanting & moving meditation, nature walks, dharma talks & discussions. A special feature of this retreat is the Dharma Interview, an opportunity to receive personal guidance from the Reverends.

All nationalities, cultures, ages and spiritual backgrounds are welcome. Smile

*NOTE: No sunday dharma service on May, 20th at the Temple.

*WON MOTION is refreshing movement for enhanced meditation and fitness. Won Motion is an exercise and meditation fusion that draws from Tai Chi, Yijin Jing style Qigong, and Yoga. Consistent  practice of Won Motion can safely and gently strengthen the back and the entire body. The round movements of Won Motion help the body’s joints move freely for better circulation and more comfortable sitting meditation.
